A clean, structured box upholstered top to bottom, finished with deep buttoning across the lid and raised on slim legs so it reads as a furniture piece, not a hidden compartment. No piping, no fuss, just a shape that knows what it is.
It works at the foot of the bed for blankets and pillows. It works in a hallway as a bench. It works under a window with a throw across the top. The lid lifts to proper storage inside, not a token cavity.
