About the Belmont
A bench made for the foot of the bed, with rolled arms and bolster cushions at each end.
The Belmont sits on four tapered dark wood legs with a clean upholstered seat between them. Each end rolls outward into a low scrolled arm, and a cylindrical bolster cushion rests in the curve, finished with a contrast button at each cap. Plain seat, no buttoning, no channelling, just a smooth velvet stretch from arm to arm.
It's the bench that earns its place at the foot of a bed. Long enough to perch and put your shoes on, finished enough to read as a piece of furniture rather than a storage afterthought. It also works in a hallway, in a dressing room, or angled at the foot of a bay window.
Hand-upholstered in Britain by the same makers who build our beds. Solid timber frame, tapered legs in a dark wood finish, hand-stitched velvet seat. Available in two fabric tones, Dark or Light.

Cut from the same roll as your bed
Fabric is dyed in batches. Two rolls of the same cloth, dyed months apart, are close but not the same. Order the Belmont with your bed and our cutter nests both on one roll, in the colour you chose above.

What it is
- A bench for the foot of the bed, long enough to sit on and put your shoes on.

What it is not
- Not a storage bench. The seat is fixed and there is nothing inside it.
- Not a sofa. Low scrolled arms and no back, so it is made to perch on rather than sink into.
- Not buttoned or channelled. A plain seat looks cleaner and shows creasing more than a buttoned one would.
- Not stocked. It is upholstered to order.

The Belmont is made to order and takes 45 days. Ordered with a bed, it is built alongside it and delivered together.
Returns
You have 14 days from delivery to tell us you have changed your mind, and we collect.
Collection for a change of mind return costs £180.
