Fast delivery in furniture usually means a thinner frame, a shorter guarantee or a courier leaving a flatpack in your hallway. Not here. This is the same bed off the same bench, to the same specification, with the same paperwork behind it. The only line that changes is when it arrives.

If it is the same bed, why is it £440 less?
Because the expensive part of a bespoke bed is not the timber. It is the bench time, the single-metre fabric cut, the separate delivery run. On a Quick Ship bed all of that is already spent.
It was built in a run, not on its own
Twice a year we cut a full roll of one fabric and build a batch of beds through the workshop in a single pass. One setup, one fabric lay, one quality check across the whole run. That efficiency is real and we hand it to you rather than keeping it.
We chose the fabric, not you
The colour on this bed was our decision. It is a fabric we know sells, in a shade that suits most rooms, but it was not picked for your walls. That is the entire trade, and it is the reason the price moves.
It is not ex-display, seconds or returned
Every Quick Ship bed is new, unwrapped and unused. Nothing on this page is a clearance unit with a mark on it. If a bed has a blemish we sell it separately and we say so on the page.
It ships on a route we are already driving
Our own two man team delivers it, on our own van, on a run already going your way. No third party courier, no kerbside drop, no assembly fee.
No estimate. A date.
Made-to-order beds get a lead time because the bed does not exist yet. This one exists. So we give you the day, and we hold it.

The honest answers
Is the guarantee really the same as the made-to-order bed?
Yes. The same terms and the same claims process. There is no separate Quick Ship warranty and no reduced cover because you paid less. The bed was built to one specification and the guarantee follows the bed, not the price you paid for it.
What happens if it does not suit the room?
You have fourteen days from delivery to tell us you want to send it back, and a further fourteen days to return it. We collect. This is a genuine advantage over ordering made to order, where the bed is built for you and cannot be cancelled after twenty four hours.
The bed needs to come back in the condition it arrived in, so keep the wrapping until you are sure.
Can I have this shape in a different fabric and still get it quickly?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. The seven day promise exists because this bed is finished and crated. Change the fabric and it becomes a new bed on a ten week lead time. If the colour matters more than the date, order free swatches and take the ten weeks.
Is it ex-display or a return?
Neither. It is new, wrapped and unused, built in a production run rather than for a specific customer. Where a bed does have a fault or has been on a showroom floor we list it under Clearance and we describe the fault.
How do you deliver a bed in seven days when it normally takes ten weeks?
Because the ten weeks is manufacturing time, not delivery time. Made to order means your bed does not exist until you order it. This one is on a rack in our warehouse with a reference number on it. All that is left is the drive.
Does it come with a mattress?
No, the price is for the bed frame and base. Our Quick Ship mattresses are held in the same warehouse and can travel on the same delivery, which is worth doing if you need the room finished in one visit.
What if someone buys it while I am deciding?
Then the page will show sold out and the model reverts to its made-to-order lead time. We hold one of each Quick Ship unit and we do not restock the same fabric to order. Adding it to your basket does not reserve it. Only checkout does.
People kept asking for the bed they could see, now.
For twenty years I made beds for other people's shop floors. Every one of them handled the same problem badly. If a customer needed a bed quickly they were pushed onto whatever cheap frame happened to be in a warehouse, usually flatpack, usually nothing like the bed they had walked in to look at.
So we do it the other way round. Twice a year we run a batch of our own beds through the workshop in our own fabrics, we hold them, and we sell them at the price the efficiency actually earns. Same bench, same guarantee, same delivery team. You lose the fabric choice. You keep everything else.
