The Kipling headboard. Same vertical metal trim and channelled upholstery as the Kipling bed, made to fit a divan you already own.
A tall, full-width headboard divided into vertical upholstered channels by slim metal trim lines that run the full height, evenly spaced, creating a clean architectural rhythm across the panel. The trim is the structure, the upholstery is the in-fill, and the whole piece reads as graphic and contemporary rather than decorated.
Three trim finishes available, brass, copper or silver. The trim choice changes the personality of the headboard entirely, so order both fabric and trim samples together. The combination is what makes this design.
This is the headboard for someone who has the right divan or storage base already, and wants a contemporary statement piece. Modern apartments, city flats, new builds, anywhere a heritage shape would feel out of place but a plain panel would feel underdone.
Hand-upholstered to order in our British workshop. Solid timber frame, deep foam padding, metal trim hand-set channel by channel by the same upholsterers who build our beds. Available in Double, King and Super King to fit any standard divan.
Choose from over 100 fabrics across velvets, linens, bouclés and weaves. Three trim finishes. Match a scheme you already have, or start from a swatch.
