Milly Sedac Epona Roll Out Action Sofa Bed
A low rolled-arm English sofa with T-cushion seats. The Milly, doing classic without doing dated.
The Milly is the most heritage shape in the sofa bed range. Low scrolled arms that roll outward in the English style, two attached back cushions, two T-cushion seats that extend forward past the arms in the traditional drawing-room proportion. Turned light wood legs at every corner. The whole sofa reads as a piece of country house furniture rather than something built to convert.
Inside is the Sedac Epona roll-out action, the same mechanism we use in the Emma, the family of actions we held UK distribution rights for from 1962 to 2020. Pull the seat forward, the back rolls down, the bed lays flat. Reverse it the same way. The sleeping surface is a proper folded mattress engineered for daily use, not occasional guest stays.
If you're choosing between Milly and Emma, this is the call. Emma is the contemporary square-armed silhouette, cleaner, more urban. Milly is the heritage roll-arm shape, softer, country house leaning. Same Sedac Epona mechanism inside, completely different read in the room.
This is the sofa bed for a snug, a study, a country cottage, a panelled drawing room. Anywhere a contemporary sofa would sit awkwardly and a fold-out futon would be unthinkable.
