The Riana shares the Emma's square-armed silhouette and Sedac Epona roll-out action, with two design changes that lift it into the premium tier. The back cushions are deep cube-buttoned in a regular grid, six panels per cushion, set into a tightly stuffed surface that catches shadow from every angle. The frame sits on slim tapered light wood legs at every corner, lifting the whole sofa off the floor where the Emma sits low on a plinth. The result is a sofa bed that reads as a piece of statement furniture rather than a clever bedroom solution.
If you're choosing between Riana, Emma and Milly, this is the call. Emma is the contemporary plinth-base square-arm shape, low and urban. Milly is the heritage roll-arm shape, soft and country house. Riana is the design-forward middle ground, square arms like Emma, raised legs and architectural buttoning.
Inside is the same Sedac Epona action used in the Emma. The family of mechanisms we held UK distribution rights for from 1962 to 2020. Pull the seat forward, the back rolls down, the bed lays flat. One-handed conversion in seconds.
