The Rowe headboard is built from a series of padded panels in irregular rectangular sizes, set together like a stretcher-bond brick wall, each panel a different proportion to the next. The result is a geometric patchwork that catches shadow at every seam, reads as architectural rather than decorative, and changes appearance as you move through the room.
Nothing else in the range looks like this. Most upholstered headboards work with a single shape detailed by buttoning, channelling or piping. The Rowe is detailed by the panels themselves, no buttoning, no piping, no studs. The geometry is the design.
This is the bed for a serious bedroom. Panelled walls, art collections, deep wall colours, contemporary architectural interiors. It rewards a saturated fabric, the image shows a deep burgundy velvet but the same shape carries forest green, midnight navy, oxblood, espresso, and even cream linen for a softer architectural read.
Choose your base. Non storage on slim tapered legs, manual ottoman for everyday lift-up storage, electric ottoman for touch-of-a-button access, or full adjustable platform. On ottoman and adjustable bases, the legs are removed and the base sits flush to the floor for maximum storage.
Crafted not assembled. Handmade to order in our British workshop by the same craftspeople who have supplied Britain's leading bed retailers for over two decades. Solid hardwood frame. FSC-certified timbers. Each panel cut, padded and stitched individually before being assembled into the patchwork by hand. Slats 3cm apart, rated for our heaviest natural-fill mattresses.
