The Sofia is the most distinctive sofa bed silhouette we make. The arms sweep upward and outward in a continuous curve from a low front point to a higher back, more reminiscent of a 1960s Italian design house piece than a British sofa. The back is a single tightly buttoned panel set with regular buttons across its surface. The seat cushions are deep and soft, the plinth base low and dark, and the whole frame reads as a designed object first, a sofa bed second.
Inside is the Sedac Epona roll-out action, the same mechanism we use across the rest of the premium sofa bed range. The family of actions we held UK distribution rights for from 1962 to 2020. Pull the seat forward, the back rolls down, the bed lays flat. One-handed conversion in seconds.
