The Piper is the simplest piped silhouette in the range. The headboard is a clean upholstered rectangle with a single piped line tracing every edge, framing the inner panel like a picture frame. No buttoning, no channelling, no studs. The piping is the entire detail.
The piping does more than it looks like it should. It defines the edges, picks up shadow along the seam, and gives the headboard a tailored finish that a plain stretched panel doesn't have. It's the smallest detail change in the range, and the one that makes the biggest difference between a generic upholstered headboard and a properly considered one.
The footboard is low and rolled, the side rails plain, the legs slim and tapered in dark wood. On the non storage base, the legs lift the bed off the floor. Choose ottoman or adjustable instead and the legs are removed, the base sits flush, and the full footprint becomes deep storage underneath.
