This is a brand new Cavendish Natural Firm in 4'6 Double. It is identical to the made-to-order version in every detail: same springs, same fillings, same hand stitching, same factory. We built one more than we needed, so this one is ready now.
The Cavendish is the firm Natural, the deepest support we build below the flagship. 6,405 individually pocketed springs, the highest count in the Natural range, under 50mm of natural latex and wool, cotton, silk, cashgora and horsehair. For back sleepers, heavier frames, larger couples sharing a bed and anyone who wakes up sore on a softer mattress.
Why it matters
- 6,405 individually pocketed springs. Packed tightly enough to hold heavier frames and back sleepers level through the night. Firm without feeling hard.
- Natural fillings, no synthetic foam. 50mm of natural latex beneath wool, cotton, silk, cashgora and horsehair. Natural fillings regulate temperature in a way synthetic foam never quite manages, even with gel infusion. Also the right call if you sleep hot.
- The Vispring and Harrison Spinks answer. Same heritage construction, spring counts in the same range, our manufacturing and our price. I supplied both for over a decade before launching The Sleep Co.
- Three rows of hand side stitching. Reinforced edges, so you can sit and sleep right to the perimeter without the mattress giving way beneath you.
- Made in Britain. Built in our own factory by a founder-led brand, drawing on a family bed-making heritage going back to 1968.

Of course. Add Mattress Recycling to your order for £80 and we will collect your old mattress for responsible recycling when we deliver your new one.

Changing your mind
You can cancel within 14 days of delivery for any reason. Tell us and we will collect it, and you pay the £180 collection cost.
Items must be returned in their original packaging and in a condition fit for resale, so please keep the wrapping until you are sure. Mattresses must be unused and unopened. If anything arrives faulty or is not what you ordered, we put it right at no cost to you.

Every mattress we make carries our 15 year guarantee, Quick Ship included. Our 90 Night Comfort Exchange applies too.
Questions
Is this the same as the made to order mattress?
Yes. Same springs, fillings and makers in the same British workshop. The only difference is that it has already been made, so the size and feel are fixed.
Is it new?
Yes. It is brand new, wrapped and unused, waiting in our warehouse rather than in the build queue.
What if the feel is not right?
Our 90 Night Comfort Exchange applies to Quick Ship mattresses exactly as it does to made to order. Sleep on it, and if the feel is wrong we will help you swap it.
When will it arrive?
Around 10 days. Once you order, our team calls to agree a day that suits you. Delivery to your front door on mainland UK is free; two man installation into the room of your choice is £120.
